Note 1: (a)

Experience required:

Essential:
1.
Bachelor’s degree
in Engineering from
a recognised university or equivalent with at least first class (60%)
in any specified
subject/relevant area with
one year of
relevant experience;
Relevant/Specified Subject/Relevant area:
Naval Architecture, Naval Architecture & Ocean
Engineering, Ocean
Engineering, Naval Architecture &
Ship Building, Naval
Architecture & Marine
Engineering , Marine Technology
with specialization in Naval Architecture.
Relevant Experience:
Experience
in basic &
detailed design / construction
of Ships/offshore
structures in a design organization/shipyard or Plan
approval functions in specified subject/relevant area in a classification
society/statutory bodies.

OR
Teaching and Research in an academic Institution/Research & Development Organisation/Laboratory in the field
of naval
architecture/ocean
engineering.
Desirable:
1. Candidates
possessing a Masters Degree in Engineering with at least (55%) in specified subject / relevant area will be considered
if they possess
a.
Bachelor’s degree in
Engineering from a recognised university with
at least first class (60%) and
b. One year of
relevant experience
2. Knowledge of
FORAN / TRIBON / MAXSURF or other ship design packages.
Good communication skills, reliable and self
motivated.
