OR Teaching and Research   in   an   academic   Institution/Research   & Development Laboratory in the field of Ship systems etc. OR  at  least 1  year  of  sea  service  as  engineer  in Operational level (as defined in STCW Convention as amended) on foreign going ships with MEO Class IV (motor) certificate of Competency or equivalent. Desirable: 1.  Candidates possessing a masters degree in engineering with at least ( 55%) marks in specified subject / relevant area will be considered if they possess a.  Bachelor’s        degree   in   Engineering   from   a recognised  university  with  at   least  first  class (60%) and b.  One year of relevant experience 2.  Should  be  familiar  with  machinery  &  system  design codes & standards.  Good communication skills, reliable and self motivated.
