ResponsibilitiesProvide inputs in the budget planning activity; advice department heads on variance analysis
Ensure efficient & effective management of companys finances through all necessary financial controls, systems and processes
Establish review mechanism for ensuring accuracy and integrity of the companys financial records
Ensure statutory compliances of all processes & accounting practices
Provide assistance around treasury operations
Prepare and implement audit calendar
Work with Accounts team and function heads in designing and implementing corrective actions/process changes based on audit findings
Manage relationships with external auditors
Supervise filing of various forms and returns with the concerned statutory and regulatory authorities
Perform the role of a people manager for the Finance and Accounts Payable team
Manage and support recruitment, set KRAs for direct reports, monitor overall department KRAs, conduct performance appraisal
Oversee staff deployment and drive motivation levels of the team, monitor staff welfare and facilitate complaint resolution, manage efficiency levels and drive timely delivery of all operational
Good communication skills with strong process orientation 
Basic QualificationsAccounting, MIS, Tax returns, Audit schedules complying accounting standards.
Chartered Accountant with 7+ years of post-qualification experience.
Accounting / Audit experience in similar capacity preferably from an MNC audit firm. 
Basic knowledge of US GAAP essential. 
Good knowledge in preparing Final accounts, MIS, Tax returns, Audit schedules complying accounting standards. 
Work experience in handling STPI unit of an MNC preferable. 
Liaison with Statutory and Internal auditors, Banks, STPI, Tax officers etc. 
To do work under pressure in a can do environment.
Work experience on ERP (preferably Oracle R12) environment is an added advantage. Oracle implementation and Shared Services center as additional valuable experience (key area).
Good communication skills with strong process orientation
Education RequirementsChartered Accountant and/or Cost Accountant (passed both groups final preferably in Ist attempt).
