The  Department  of  Communication  Research,  Indian  Institute  of  Mass  Communication  is 
conducting a project titled “Mapping Coverage and Awareness of Health Programmes: An 
Evaluation Study of Swasth Bharat Programme on Doordarshan and AIR”


The Department requires the following staff on a contract-basis: 

Research Officer (3 Posts)


Total emoluments for the post: Rs. 35,000/- per month

A)  Educational Qualification:

Master  Degree  in  Communication  Studies/Mass  Communication  or  Social  Sciences (Psychology,  Sociology,  Economics,)  Public  Health  or  Marketing/Management/ Sciences with four years of research experience/industry experience or M. Phil with 5 years of research experience. 

OR

Ph. D in relevant areas from a recognized Univ. /Institution.
+
Three  years  experience  of  working  in  Market  Research  /Media  Research/Teaching  and 
Research at University level.

B)   Work/Research Experience

Essential

Work  experience  of  three  years  is  desirable  in  the  area  of  development  communication, 
Social marketing or development sector.

Comprehensive and up to date knowledge of research within the subject related area.

Good knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods is essential. 

Desirable

A  capacity  to  write  research  papers,  make  research  presentations,  and  develop projects

C)  Skill-Sets


Efficiency in M.S. Office (Word, Excel/SPSS and Power point) is essential.

Data Entry Operator (1 Post) (For a period of 6 months)

Total emoluments for the post: Rs. 10,000/- per month.

A)  Educational Qualification:

Graduate from a recognized university in any stream

B)   Skill-Sets

Essential

Computer skills with good knowledge of M. S. Office.
Knowledge of Excel
Typing speed of 40 w.p.m.

Desirable


SPSS is desirable.

Vacancy for Data Entry Operator in Central Drugs Standard Control Organization

The Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (HQ), FDA Bhawan , Near Mata Sundari College, New Delhi -110002 has below openings for its various Drugs Testing Laboratories situated in various cities throughout India.

These supporting staff will assist Senior officers in matters related to Administrative & Technical works carried out in the office of Drugs Testing Laboratories .

Qualification, experience, job description, emoluments etc. for various posts are as under:-



Data Entry Operator - 14 Vacancy

Age:- 21-35 years

Qualification:

The Candidates should be Graduate with 1 year Diploma in computers from recognized Institute.Fluent in written and spoken English. Well conversant with computer packages namely, Windows i.e., Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access. Should have „O - Basic Foundation level Certificate course‟ of DOECC (Development of Electronic Accreditation for computer Course (India) or equivalent from any Govt. /Recognized Private Institute. Good Working knowledge of Computer and internet/e-mails.

The candidates should have typing speed of 40 w.p.m. Preference will be given to candidates also having short hand knowledge. Work experience of more than 2 years.

Job description :-

Typing of various letters, approvals, licenses, noting etc. along with documentation, Creation & maintenance of National Data Bank. Any other duties assigned by Drugs Controller (India) from time to time.

Remuneration : Rs.10,686/- p.m.

Recruitment to the post of Data Entry Operator (Trainee)



Data Entry Operator (Trainee):
Education Qualification: Graduate in Commerce/Science/Arts from recognised University with aggregate marks between 45 per cent & 59 per cent.
Computer Knowledge: Basic Computer Knowledge
Age Limit: The candidate’s age should be between 18 & 27 years as on date of application. (In case of SC/ST/NT candidates, relaxation of three years above the maximum age limit may be considered).
Emoluments: Three years Training with CTC per month
1st Year - Rs. 11000.00*
2nd Year - Rs. 12500.00*
3rd Year - Rs. 14500.00*
*The above CTC includes Fixed Stipend, Incentive, Lump sum Incentive and Employer’s contribution for Provident Fund.

After successful completion of training of three years, Data Entry Operator (Trainee) will be absorbed in the Junior Officer Cadre of the Bank. 



HOW TO APPLY
  1.  For applying to the above posts in the Bank, the candidates have to follow the following steps.

    (a) Candidates should have a valid personal e-mail id.

    (b) Before applying Online candidates are required to have a scanned (digital) image of her/his photograph, graduation mark sheet, caste certificate (if applicable) and date of birth proof as per the specifications.

    (c) In Online Application Form, all the mandatory fields (marked with*) should be filled in, otherwise the system will not accept the application.

    (d) After filling in all the required particulars in the application, candidates shall submit the application on-line. Click “submit” button and the online application will be registered. An auto generated Feedback Acknowledgement alongwith Application Number will be e-mailed to the candidate as per the id provided in the Application Form.

    (e) Please note that Online Application is the only valid procedure for applying. No other mode of application or incomplete steps would be accepted and such applications would be rejected.

    (f) Any information submitted by an applicant in her/his application shall be binding on the candidate personally and she/he shall be liable for prosecution/civil consequences in case the information/details furnished by her/him are found to be false at a later stage. 
ONLINE OBJECTIVE TEST AND SELECTION PROCEDURE

4. The details about the Online Objective Test and final Selection Procedure are furnished below:

  1. The selection of the candidates shall be made on the basis of the Online Objective Test and Interview. 
  2. The Online Objective Test will be conducted in English Language only. 
  3. All the eligible candidates who have received a Feedback Acknowledgement and Application Number will be called for the Online Objective Test in batches on “First Come, First Served Basis”. The Online Objective Test will comprise the following:

    (i) Online Objective Test: 100 Marks
    (ii) Duration of Test: 60 Minutes
    (iii) There shall be Negative Marking for wrong answers and 0.25 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
    (iv) Online Objective Test will be divided into four sections such as (a) English – 10 Marks (b) Numerical Ability – 30 Marks, (c) Test of Reasoning – 30 Marks and (d) General Awareness – 30 Marks.
    (v) The candidates to be called for interview will have to pass in each section of the Online Objective Test as well as on the total score.
    (vi) The cut-off points to qualify in each of the tests will be decided by the Bank Management as per the vacancies notified. Securing the passing marks in individual tests may not be adequate as candidates should also secure high in aggregate marks in order of merit to be called for interview.
    (vi) The scores of the Objective Test will be known to the candidates on final submission of the test.
    (vii) The candidates who have scored above certain cut-off limit of marks would be called for interview. The cut-off limit would be decided by the Bank Management as per the number of vacancies. 
  4. Date, Time & Venue of the Online Objective Test in batches will be informed to the candidates through an email. 
  5. Candidates will have to produce the Feedback Acknowledgement, Printout of Call Letter along with the candidate’s currently valid photo identity, in original, such as PAN Card/Driving Licence/Voter’s Card/Aadhar Card, should be submitted to the invigilator for verification. The candidate’s identity will be verified and if identity of the candidate do not tally, the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the Online Examination.
