Departmental Objective and Policies
- Establish departmental goals and objectives that provide world-class materials performance to the organization.
- Establish and track meaningful departmental reports / measurements.
- Analyze reports, measurements and external benchmarks to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Proactively lead the materials team to continuously improve processes and procedures.
- Manage all departmental functions such that goals and objectives are consistently achieved.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the department.
- Set the KRA for all staffs, supervisors & executives based on the organization’s goal.
- Set the procedures & Norms for Purchase & Stores to dealing with other departments.
- Budgeting for next year Stores & quality related activities f. (Man, Machine, Material & Method)
- Develop SAP system as per internal process to minimize manual activities also getting MIS reports related to Stores.
As a Manager - Store:
- Ensure all RM Store activities are happened as per production plan requirement.
- Ensure all RM store transactions are accounted in SAP properly.
- Ensure all materials got inspected as per Inspection plan AQL 2.5 level.
- After Quality completion, Accepted materials stored based on the Season, frequency of
- Picking, weight & Safety requirement of respective items.
- Increase productivity by feeding materials on-time with Good quality to in-housed & FOB vendors with required documents.
- Monitor overconsumption & replenishment of the materials if over consumed.
- Ensure all rejection materials returned to respective supplier with required documents.
- Maintain 100% the stock accuracy in Stores by doing perpetual audit.
- Ensure no production stoppage by ensuring availability of Raw materials for next one week as per production plan.
- Ensure all non – movable stock identified & stored separately. The report of Movable & non-movable items details highlighted to Top Level Management on monthly basis.
- Dispose & Destroy the all non-movable items trims as per disposal policy.
