Applications are invited from eligible candidates for appointment to the following post:- Lower Division Clerk: 01 posts (Reserved for SC among Ex-servicemen)
Pay Band–P.B.-1: `. 5,200-20,200/- with Grade Pay of `. 1,900/- plus usual allowances as admissible to Central Govt. employees.
Essential Qualification & Experience – 12th Class pass or equivalent qualification from recognize Board/University with English Typewriting speed @ 35 w.p.m./10,500 KDPH, Hindi Typewriting speed @ 30 w.p.m. / 9,000 KDPH on computer. 1 year clerical experience is desirable. Age limit as per rule.

Essential Qualification & Experience – B.Sc. in Pure Science (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics), preferably Honours in Physics, with one year relevant experience after obtaining the degree. M.Sc. students or M.Sc. passed out candidates need not apply. Candidate must be able to speak, read and write in the local language.
Fees - An amount of `.100/- shall be paid in the form of Demand Draft issued in favour of ‘Birla Industrial & Technological Museum’ and payable at Kolkata, along with the application.
