The above reservation have been made on the basis of Rly Bd's letter no-E(MPP) 2002/6/10 dated-31.12.2002 & Rule-5 schedule II A of Apprentices rules-1991. In case of non availability of the requisite number of OBC candidates remaining seat will be filled up by the general candidate

Educational/Technical Qualification:-

Candidates must have passed matriculation/10^th class (10 + 2 system) or equivalent recognised examination from recognized Board/University with not less than 50% Marks and must have ITI Degree (NCVT) in the Trades notified above. Candidates without ITI Degree in the Trades need not apply. Appearing candidates in above examination also need not to apply. The candidates who have already completed their training under Apprentices Act-1961 from any Institute/Establishment are not eligible to apply under this notification. Only those candidates can apply who are in possession of certificates for above Educational/Technical qualifications. No extra weightage will be granted to the candidates having higher qualification.

Tenure	On deputation/contract basis for three
	years, extendable for further periods on mutually agreed terms and conditions.
Job Description	Will be responsible for all works relating to Power & Traction.
Maximum age limit (as on 1st January 2014)	35 years.

Experience and age criteria can be relaxed in case of otherwise exceptionally deserving candidates.

The application fee should be paid in the form of a demand draft for Rs.250.00 drawn in favour of Kochi Metro Rail Ltd., payable at Kochi. This is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Applications shall be send to Manager (HR & Training), Kochi Metro Rail Ltd., 8th Floor, Revenue Tower, Park Avenue, Kochi - 682 011 so as to reach the  office latest by 5th February, 2014.

The application shall be forwarded to KMRL through Post/Courier service only. Applications forwarded though any other means including by fax or e-mail will not be entertained.
