Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology (WIHG) issued recruitment notification for Two posts of Research Associates in NGF. The posts appointment will be initially for a period of one year, may be extended annually based on performance of work.
Only in exceptional cases the tenure will be extended beyond the initial period by maximum of two years.

Age: 35 years as on 15.02.2014
Salary : Rs.22000/- p.m.
Age Relaxation: 05 Years for SC/ST category/women candidates/ physically handicapped persons; 03 Years for OBC Category candidates.
Educational Qualifications:
Ph.D. with first class M.Sc. degree in Geology/Civil Engineering/Geophysics or allied subject and good publications in reputed journals. Preference will be given to the candidates having basic knowledge of Geotechnical/Engineering Geology etc.
Selection Process:
Date of interview will be informed to the short listed candidates. Candidates called for interview will be paid shortest 2nd/Sleeper class train/bus return fare.
