CIPET invites applications from bright, dynamic and highly motivated, result oriented Indian Nationals possessing excellent academic and administrative background for the following positions in North-Eastern Region (CIPET Centres at Guwahati and Imphal).
Post: Deputy Director & In-charge
Pay Band & Grade Pay:
Pay Band : PB-4 Rs.37400-67000 Grade Pay : Rs.8900/-
Essential Qualification :
Ph.D. in Polymer Engineering/Technology with minimum 11 years Post-qualification experience in a leading institution/industry. Candidates should have obtained Full time First class in both U.G. and P.G. levels.
Job Responsibility :
The incumbent will be in-charge/Head of CIPET centres located at North Eastern region
viz., CIPET, Guwahati, Plastics Waste Management Centre at Guwahati and CIPET centre at Imphal.
He has to successfully run all the three units in a result oriented /self sustainable mode.
He has to handle independently and to take good administrative decisions to revamp and stabilize by enhancing the training capabilities and rendering technical services in all the three units.
To lead the team dynamically by maximum utilization of resources for the benefit of the region by fostering the specialized training programmes and increasing the employability of unskilled human resources in the region.
Experience / Skill sets :
Experience in the following areas, namely
Administrative / Teaching / Research experience in Academic Institutions of repute is preferred
Adequate experience in the field of Plastics Engineering & technology, having established reputation and significant contribution to knowledge
Should have experience in procuring and delivering the results in social / industrial training and research project including liaison with Govt. agencies
Exposure to quality including Laboratory / Shop Floor management and relevant qualification in the field would have additional advantage
Sound administrative skills to take all administrative decisions.
