EDUCATIONAL:
B.E./B.Tech. and ME/M.Tech.
in Computer Science &
Engineering /Computer
Engineering/Information Technology or equivalent with First
Class or equivalent either in
BE/B.Tech. or ME/M.Tech. and Ph.D., or equivalent in
Computer Science &
Engineering /Computer Engineering/Information Technology
with specialization in the
area/stream of Computer Science. Post Ph.D. publication
& guiding Ph.D. students
is highly desirable. Note I: The desired area/streams of
specialization required for
this post is Computer Science which includes Data
Structure; Algorithms Design
& Analysis; Compiler Construction; Artificial Intelligence;
Soft Computing; Foundations
of Computing Systems
EXPERIENCE:
If a Class/division
is not awarded, minimum of
60% marks in aggregate shall be considered equivalent
to first class/division. If a
Grade Point system is adopted the CGPA will be converted
into equivalent marks as
below:-

Note III: Ph.D. shall be from
a recognized University. Note IV: Equivalence for Ph.D.
is based on publication of 5
International Journal papers, each journal having a cumulative

2.0, with incumbent as the main author and all 5
publications being in the
authors' area of specialization. Note V: Experience at
Diploma Institution is also
considered equivalent to experience is degree level institutions
at appropriate level and as
applicable. However, qualifications as above shall be
mandatory.
Job Responsibility
To teach PG & UG students
in the concerned subject, lead guide
and promote research,
examination work, planning, governance and development of
labs & curricula,
promoting R&D work, any other duty assigned by the Head of
Institution/higher
authorities. HQ: New Delhi.
