Master Plan implementation is underway. Research & Development Centre for
Iron and Steel (RDCIS) at Ranchi is the Corporate R&D unit of SAIL and is
the nodal agency for implementing the R&D Master Plan. It has Plant Centres
at Bokaro, Bhilai, Burnpur, Durgapur, Rourkela & Bhadravati. RDCIS seeks to induct bright professionals in
executive cadre in various disciplines, as detailed below

EDUCATIONAL:
At least Graduate Degree
inMetallurgy and or Material Science Engineering with minimum 65 % marks(SC/ST
Candidates 55% Marks) average of all semesters from AICTE approved college
or recognized University / Institution
EXPERIENCE:
Post qualification experience
of minimum 4 years for candidates with Graduate Degree and 2 years for
candidates with Ph.D(related to either discipline in Graduate Degree or areas
of experience specified below), in executive cadre in a Public Limited Company
/ Research Institute / University / Laboratories of national repute in the area
of Mechanical Metallurgy /Physical Metallurgy/Simulation of Steel Rolling
Process /Coating of Steel Products Steel Making / Continuous Casting / Rolling
Mills / Blast Furnace
