Applications are invited from eligible candidates, who possess the requisite qualifications, for filling up the following posts on regular basis in the Directorate of Transport, A & N Administration, Port Blair :-

Qualification
|
:
|
Essential :
1. 10th Std Pass.
2. Should
possess Trade Certificate in
Auto
Electrician of two years
from a recognized ITI.
3. Should qualify the trade test conducted by
duly
constituted selection
committee.
Desirable:
Two
years professional experience in Auto Electrical
works
and repair and maintenance of Automotive
batteries in a reputed
automobile workshop.

The candidates eligible for the posts are required to apply in the prescribed proforma together with attested copies of educational qualification, age proof, live employment registration card, category certificate and other testimonials and submit their applications addressed to the Deputy Director (Admn.), Directorate of Transport Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Port Blair and should reach this Office latest by 27.12.2013
One passport size attested photograph should be pasted at the top right hand corner of the application filled in by the applicant and one spare photograph should also be enclosed with the application.
The unsigned and incomplete applications shall be rejected.
The application received even by post on expiry of the last date shall not be entertained. Hence, applicants are advised to post the application well before the closing date so that it reaches the office of the Directorate of Transport, Port Blair well in time.
On appointment the candidates shall have to serve in any part of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, where this Department is having its jurisdiction.
The date / venue of Trade Test & Interview will be published in the Daily Telegrams and announced through All India Radio, Port Blair. No individual call letters will be sent to the candidates.
